Retail & Brand Commercial Manager - LEADING GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY

Location: Old Street, London

Pay rate: £280.77 per day PAYE

Sector: Entertainment, Consumer Products and Licensing

We are recruiting for an experienced Retail & Brand Commercial Manager to join the Consumer Products division of a leading global entertainment company.

This is a commercially focused retail marketing role responsible for connecting major entertainment brands with consumers across the UK and Ireland. You will lead marketing activity across key retail and commercial partners, working closely with Retail, Category, Franchise and Creative teams to deliver campaigns that increase brand awareness, consumer engagement and sales.

Although marketing is a significant part of the position, the successful candidate must bring a strong commercial lens, using market insight, performance data and sales tools to ensure campaigns support wider business and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of short- and long-term retail marketing strategies.
  • Develop innovative marketing activations that increase awareness and sales across key retail and commercial accounts.
  • Deliver compelling omnichannel campaigns across major entertainment franchises.
  • Manage the development and execution of marketing and product campaigns with UK and Ireland retailers.
  • Create differentiated and bespoke campaigns tailored to individual retail partners and customer needs.
  • Identify consumer, retail and social trends and translate insights into clear marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with commercial leads to support retailer engagement, joint business planning and strategic growth.
  • Prepare pitch presentations, business reviews and data-led sales materials.
  • Ensure commercial objectives are embedded across all marketing and execution plans.
  • Manage media campaigns and relationships with external agencies.
  • Partner with internal Franchise and Creative teams to ensure campaigns remain compliant with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor campaign performance and produce clear reports, analysis and recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships across a complex, cross-functional organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
