About the Role
The retail catering service provides a high-quality service to staff and visitors to our hospitals and maintains a high standard in customer care.
As a Retail Catering Assistant you will become an active member of our team working to provide retail customer service experience for staff and visitors in our busy restaurants.
We are looking for a team member who demonstrates enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn, and to develop themselves. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. Also, barista knowledge is desirable.
A good standard of English language both written and oral communication is essential along with the drive to deliver the best possible service at all times, in an often busy and pressurized environment.

Role Responsibilities
The role of a Retail Catering Assistant is to work within the restaurants or food outlets within the retail area.
- Provide a front-of-house service which is customer-focused and includes preparing and providing beverages, snacks, meal items, cash handling, the use of a till, temperature recording, and restocking of goods.
- There will also be a need for some minimal food preparation with cleaning and washing up responsibilities.
