Job Description: Retail Catering Assistant

The retail catering service provides a high quality service to staff and visitors to our hospitals and maintains a high standard in customer care.

About the Role

As a Retail Catering Assistant you will become an active member of our team working to provide a retail customer service experience for staff and visitors in our busy restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a front-of-house service which is customer focused and includes:
    • Preparing and providing beverages, snacks, and meal items
    • Cash handling and the use of a till
    • Temperature recording and restocking of goods
  • Minimal food preparation
  • Cleaning and washing up responsibilities

Requirements

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to develop yourself
  • Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Good standard of English language, both written and oral communication
  • The drive to deliver the best possible service at all times, in an often busy and pressurized environment
  • Barista Knowledge (Desirable)
