About Stamp

Stamp is a fast-growing, award-winning independent retailer offering stationery, gifting, printing, and Post Office services across London and the Home Counties.
We're building a significant high-street retail business and believe great retail is delivered by brilliant people, strong leadership, and consistently high standards.
We're on a mission to prove that high-street retail still matters – backing that ambition with growth, investment, and an entrepreneurial team that wants to win.
If you want to lead from the front, develop great managers, improve stores, and take genuine ownership for results, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

As a Cluster Manager at Stamp, you will take ownership and accountability for the commercial, operational, and people performance of your cluster.
Put simply, you are responsible for making your branches better.

You'll know your stores, your people, and your numbers. You'll spend significant time in branches, identifying opportunities and problems, developing your Team Leaders, setting clear expectations, and following through to make sure actions happen.
You'll use commercial and people data alongside what you see and hear in stores to determine where your attention is needed most.
You won't simply identify problems and pass them on. You'll take ownership, involve the right people where necessary, and drive issues through to resolution.
Know it. Own it. Improve it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Cluster Performance - Take accountability for performance across your cluster, including retail sales, Post Office performance, customer experience, people, operational standards, and compliance.
  • Lead & Develop Your Team Leaders - Lead, coach, and hold Team Leaders accountable for the performance of their branches.
  • Drive HALO Standards - HALO is Stamp's benchmark for what great looks like. Use the HALO framework to continuously assess and improve branches across: customer experience, product knowledge, Post Office service and compliance, people and leadership, staff environment, store appearance, and standards.
  • Own People Performance - Take active responsibility for day-to-day people management across your cluster, with the People Team providing specialist advice and support where appropriate.
  • Understand Your People Data - Regularly review your cluster's People Reports and understand what the information is telling you. Identify trends and areas requiring action across absence, lateness, turnover, vacancies, performance, and other agreed people KPIs.
  • Run Effective Branch Visits
    • Workforce Management - Ensure branches are appropriately staffed, and Team Leaders are managing their workforce effectively.
    • Recruitment, Training & Talent - Support effective recruitment and onboarding across your cluster.
    • Customer Experience - Champion outstanding customer service across every branch.
    • Post Office, Operational & Compliance Standards - Ensure Post Office requirements, health & safety standards, company policies, operational processes, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed.
  • Connect Branches & Store Support - Act as an effective bridge between your branches and the Store Support

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
