Summary

What To Expect

As a Retail Communications Manager, you will join us on an exciting journey undertaking a high-impact role responsible for creating and delivering communications for a portfolio of key transformation initiatives across our retail and partnership network on an 18 month contract. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring colleagues, Postmasters and stakeholders are informed, engaged and inspired through clear, compelling and audience-focused communications.

You will be working collaboratively with senior stakeholders, project teams, retail operations and corporate communications colleagues to develop and deliver integrated communication campaigns that support business priorities, drive engagement and help bring our transformation roadmap to life. Using audience insight, innovative communication techniques and strong storytelling skills, you will ensure key messages land effectively across a variety of digital and traditional channels.

This role offers you a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on one of the UK's most recognised brands, shaping how transformation is communicated across our network while supporting our vision of creating a thriving Post Office for every community. You will influence strategic initiatives, drive continuous improvement and help strengthen engagement with our Postmasters and colleagues during a period of significant change.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience creating and delivering Communications for multi-site stores within Retail.

As a Retail Communications Manager You Will Ideally Have Experience With Large Scale Transformation Within Retail. In Addition To This, The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to take a corporate comms message and translate to a wider in store audience
  • Substantial experience in establishing successful, cross-functional, stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering projects to achieve key objectives
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to utilise a range of techniques to deliver messages effectively, make an impact, and drive a successful outcome
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders to build support for functional plans and activity
  • Strong commercial business acumen and ability to make data-driven business decisions
