Our Direct-to-Consumer Retail team creates memorable brand experiences for customers through premium retail environments. We bring our iconic brands to life by delivering exceptional service, expert product knowledge and best-in-class retail experiences that inspire customer loyalty and drive growth.
About The Team
Based within our luxury retail concession at Selfridges Birmingham, the team delivers a world-class shopping experience, connecting customers with some of the world’s most celebrated spirits and gifting experiences.
About The Role
As a Retail Concession Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Diageo within our premium retail concession. You’ll create exceptional customer experiences, build lasting customer relationships and help drive sales performance while bringing our iconic brands to life through expert product knowledge and outstanding service.

What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome customers and create a memorable first impression.
- Understand customer needs and recommend products tailored to their preferences.
- Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to team performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales through premium recommendations and gifting solutions.
- Support promotional events and in-store activations.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across the Diageo portfolio.
- Ensure high visual merchandising standards and an exceptional store presentation.
- Support stock management, replenishment and inventory checks.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns professionally to deliver a positive experience.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your luxury retail and sales expertise while representing some of the world’s most recognised premium drinks brands.

- Experience in retail, luxury retail or customer-facing sales environments.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence working towards sales targets and commercial objectives.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for learning about premium brands and products.
