The Client
An established, high-performing multi-site UK retail business is seeking an experienced Retail Director to lead its next phase of growth and development.
Operating a substantial multi-site network with national reach, this is a significant P&L leadership role requiring an individual who can combine commercial acumen and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will inherit a strong platform and be responsible for driving performance, strengthening customer experience, developing digital capability and delivering sustainable growth across a large, distributed operation.
The Person
You will take full P&L accountability for business performance, leading a sizeable field and support team whilst shaping the strategic direction of the operation.

Key responsibilities include:
- Full P&L responsibility, delivering revenue, profit and market share objectives.
- Leading, inspiring and developing a large multi-site retail organisation.
- Creating and executing a clear strategic plan for future growth.
- Driving operational excellence and improving consistency across the network.
- Enhancing customer experience and service delivery.
- Accelerating digital capability and customer engagement initiatives.
- Building strong cross-functional relationships and fostering collaboration across the wider business.
- Creating a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.

The Person
We are interested in speaking with high-calibre leaders who can demonstrate:
- Significant senior leadership experience within a sizeable multi-site retail environment.
- Proven full P&L ownership and delivery of commercial performance targets.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience and field leadership.
- A track record of driving growth, profitability and operational improvement.
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong strategic capability combined with hands-on execution.
- Experience developing digital propositions and improving customer journeys would be advantageous.
