Retail Experience & Activation Executive

Location & Hours

  • UK, Field based
  • Reports to Retail Experience & Activation Manager

Role Purpose

Plays a key role in improving the overall customer experience, increasing sales performance, and ensuring brand consistency across retail stores. Responsible for delivering training programs to generic retail staff, activating in-store experiences, ensuring effective product displays, and supporting the execution of brand strategies.

Person Specification

  • 2+ years' experience in retail training or sales.
  • Experience with retail activations or product launches is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of retail environments, customer behaviour, and sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse retail performance data and develop actionable strategies to improve results.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to various store locations.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays where required.

Training & Development

  • Deliver brand training programs for generic store retail staff on brand heritage, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure generic store staff are up to date with product launches, promotions, and retail trends.

Retail Activation & Execution

  • Collaborate with the National Account Manager to execute in-store activations and events that drive sales, improve customer engagement, and create brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with retail teams and visual merchandising teams to ensure in-store displays are aligned with brand guidelines and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure retail locations are fully equipped and prepared for product launches and promotional activities.
  • Collect and report on customer feedback and sales data during and after activations to measure success.
  • Drive the community influencer program through building strong relationships, driving treatments, and supporting influencer events.

  • Stay up to date with the latest product offerings, features, and benefits to ensure training programs remain relevant and accurate.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s values and ethos internally to staff and externally to customers and influencers.
