Position Summary
The Retail Experience Ambassador (REA) is a field-based commercial and education partner responsible for accelerating retail performance across priority UK & Ireland locations. Working across multiple prestige brands, the REA drives Like-for-Like growth through education, coaching, consumer events, in-store selling, New Product Launch execution, and digital retail activation.
Partnering closely with Sales, Education, and retailer teams, the REA builds team capability, delivers exceptional consumer experiences, and strengthens brand advocacy to support sustainable commercial growth.
What this Role Does
Commercial Performance & Consumer Experience
- Drive commercial performance across priority locations through coaching, education, consumer engagement, and best-in-class selling.
- Coach retail teams to achieve agreed KPIs, including Like-for-Like growth, conversion, event performance, and launch success.
- Identify commercial opportunities through KPI analysis and partner with Sales and Education teams to implement targeted action plans.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional consumer service and selling behaviors.
- Maximise sell-through of hero products, New Product Launches, and the wider product portfolio.
- Leverage in-store and digital commerce opportunities to drive incremental sales and brand awareness.

Education & Capability
- Coach and develop retail teams to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, service, and commercial capability.
- Deliver on-counter, classroom, and virtual education, including training for new starters and existing team members.
- Identify regional training needs in partnership with Store Managers, Sales, and Education teams.
- Support the Education Manager with launches, roadshows, training programmes, and strategic follow-up.
- Drive engagement with digital learning and share best practice across regions.
Events & Retail Activation
- Plan and execute consumer events, masterclasses, seasonal activations, and New Product Launch events across priority locations.
- Drive appointment bookings, attendance, conversion, and sales through strong partnership with retailer teams.
- Coach teams on event planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Track event performance and identify opportunities to continuously improve results.
- Support new store openings through education, events, and consumer engagement.
- Represent ELC brands through live digital commerce activations and product demonstrations.

Digital & Social
- Support authentic in-store and social-first content that amplifies brand campaigns and key retail moments.
- Partner with Marketing and Education teams on content and digital commerce activations that drive awareness, traffic, and conversion.
Planning & Collaboration
- Plan store visits strategically using business performance, team needs, and commercial priorities.
- Maintain visit tracking and follow up with relevant store and field stakeholders.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Sales, Education, Marketing, and retailer teams.
- Share insights, results, and best practice to continuously improve execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail education, training, or related fields within the beauty or luxury industries.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a keen interest in developing and sharing knowledge.
