The Role…
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the retail division of the Soho House Group with the business that includes our Home and Beauty Brands – ‘Soho Home’ and ‘Cowshed’. Reporting to the Retail Head of Finance, the successful candidate will act as the Retail FP&A Analyst with other duties highlighted below.
Key Accountabilities..
- Lead the bi-annual budget process
- Ownership of forecast modelling, improve and develop current process
- Provide robust commercial challenges to budget holders
- Assist with supporting strategic decision making by providing reporting and analysis
- Produce monthly analysis on margins, cost trends and key variances to present to senior stakeholders
- Investigate any margin discrepancies with the budget holders and identify changes/improvements to the process of margin management
- Produce business cases for potential new sites and revenue streams
- Lead the monthly P/L reviews with the trade leads and site GMs, to discuss performance, key variances to budget and actions are recorded / followed up each month
- Support the Management Accounts team with month end close
- Maintain and improve reporting templates, dashboards and planning tools
- Produce ad hoc analysis as directed by FD / CFO
- Support on year end and the annual audit
- Additional ad-hoc duties as requested.

What we're looking for…
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- 2-4 years’ experience
- Strong and robust character, confident in challenging at all levels.
- Previous Retail FP&A experience essential
- Advanced Excel skills and ideally experience with Microsoft Business Central package and Power BI.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under own initiative and collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- "Solution driven” as opposed to “problem focusing"
- Ability to adapt to new systems efficiently and understand the end-to-end process.
