Responsible To: Head of International Sales
Role Overview As Retail Fragrance Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the Floris London business by optimising sales opportunities and growth within nominated department stores in London. This role combines luxury retail management, relationship building and brand representation to deliver exceptional customer experience while achieving sales goals and targets.
As the key ambassador for Floris London, the Fragrance Specialist will ensure the highest standards of service, visual merchandising, and operational excellence whilst maintaining a strong partnership with the Selfridges and Fortnum and Mason management team.
Responsibilities
Commercial Performance
- Lead the achievement of sales targets, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to drive retail growth and enhance stores performance.
- Assist in implementing product initiatives and promotional activities.
- Analyse sales performance, identify trends, and implement action plans to maximise opportunities.
- Support alignment with broader commercial and marketing strategies.

Client Experience & Brand Standards
- Deliver a consistently elevated client experience aligned with brand values.
- Lead by example in service excellence and client engagement in London stores.
- Ensure presentation and operational standards are upheld at all times in the London stores.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with store management teams (Selfridges & Fortnum and Mason).
- Build strong relationships with department store sales teams, equipping and motivating them to confidently sell Floris products during your absence.
- Collaborate with Head of Sales on promotional activities, launches, and in-store events.
- Stay connected with Head of Sales and Retail Manager to ensure the standards of Floris and requirements of the stores are always maintained.
Operations & Administration
- Take responsibility of daily store operations of London Stores (Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.)
- Monitor stock accuracy, replenishment, and inventory management.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular performance updates to management.
- Strive to build the customer database in each store.

Reporting & Communication
- Prepare sales, stock, and operational reports.
- Plan for weekly meeting with Head of Sales to review the businesses and highlight opportunities for growth.
- Maintain clear communication with internal departments to ensure alignment.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety requirements.
- Support compliance with relevant operational and regulatory standards in London stores.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide operational support as required.
- Undertake additional duties in line with business needs.
