Job Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Within the Travel Retail Europe management team at LVMH Fragrance Brands (Parfums Givenchy & Kenzo), the Retail Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing sell-out and increasing market share in collaboration with the Area Manager
  • Ensuring that brand image strictly complies with all brands guidelines
  • Managing the Beauty Advisor team on a daily basis

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

Commercial Performance Management

  • Implement the commercial strategy for each brand.
  • Define and manage sales targets (sell-out) by shop, in collaboration with the Area Manager.
  • Analyze performance by brand and category against budgets & defined objectives, & propose corrective action plans.
  • Conduct regular store visits & identify growth drivers & areas for improvement.
  • Supervise store replenishment, to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Optimize product launches, commercial activations, & seasonal highlights considering Brands guidelines.

Team Management and Development

  • Oversee the recruitment, evaluation/assessment, and development of LVMH Fragrance Beauty Advisors.
  • Spend most of their time in-store managing the sales floor, coaching and developing teams’ business acumen & sales techniques, optimizing customer flow management, and ensuring the shop/counter is well maintained.
  • Ensure accurate skills development path in collaboration with LVMH FB Trainer/Coach
  • Ensure event & key period coverage with trained and dedicated temporary promoter teams.
  • Organize work schedules based on passenger traffic and business needs.
  • Engage & motivate retailer sales teams (presenting new products, sharing results, driving performance around targets).
  • Mobilize teams around launches, commercial activations, and strategic projects.
  • Create a collaborative and positive environment that fosters engagement & collective performance.

Retail Excellence & Merchandising

  • Implement merchandising planograms defined by operational marketing, adapting them to store constraints.
  • Optimize the presence of communication materials, visuals, and testers in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
  • Update merchandising databases and photo libraries.

Marketing & Activations

  • Deploy the commercial and marketing activation calendar.
  • Coordinate product launches, innovations, and activations.
  • Ensure the availability of materials and supports required for activations.
  • Measure campaign performance and propose recommendations

Collaboration with business partners

  • Serve as the primary field contact for Travel Retail retailers and temporary employment agencies.
  • Develop partnership relations with store managers (sharing key data, negotiating local operations, presenting brand strategy, etc.) and key stakeholders (Avolta / Lagardère Travel Retail / Arianta)
  • Support local teams in executing commercial and retail plans.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Track performance KPIs and involve Beauty Advisors in the follow-up
  • Prepare and share regular business reviews with the manager.
  • Analyze variances versus objectives and propose action plans.
  • Produce recommendations based on sales data and market trends.
  • Ensure regular reporting to management.
  • Ensure regular and accurate reporting to management on sales, traffic, merchandising, and competitive intelligence.

Profile

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3 years of experience in Travel Retail

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, Luxury, Beauty or a related discipline preferred. Relevant professional qualifications in Retail Management, Leadership or Business Management are highly desirable. Additional qualifications or training in Beauty, Cosmetics, Luxury Retail or Customer Experience would be an advantage.

KEY SKILLS

  • Business acumen: strong understanding of commercial, financial, and Travel Retail market challenges.
  • Retail excellence: mastery of in-store execution and merchandising standards.
  • Data & Analytics: Strong analytical and commercial skills. Ability to translate performance data into concrete recommendations.
  • Leadership and ability to federate teams.
  • Commercial acumen, driven by challenge, focused on clients, action, results, with experience in the local management of a profit center
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the specific dynamics and challenges of the airport network.
  • Strong affinity with the beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, and luxury sectors.
  • Proficiency in Office and reporting tools.
