Retail Manager/Supervisor
We are looking for a highly proactive and organised Retail Manager/Supervisor to join our Glasgow team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with previous supervisory, team leadership or managerial experience who takes pride in making sure a busy retail environment runs properly.
The key qualities we are looking for are proactivity, organisation, accountability and clear communication, alongside a strong awareness of the sneaker, streetwear and resale industry that Kershkicks operates within.
You will help oversee the day-to-day running of the store, organise staff priorities, ensure routine duties and end-of-day procedures are completed properly, and maintain high operational standards across both our physical and online store.
We are looking for someone who does not simply wait to be told what to do. You should naturally identify what needs attention, take ownership of responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

- Help oversee daily store operations and the shop floor.
- Plan and clearly communicate daily tasks and priorities.
- Ensure routine duties and end-of-day checklists are completed consistently.
- Lead and support the team while maintaining a positive working environment.
- Maintain high standards of organisation, customer service and visual merchandising.
- Manage inventory, including rare and deadstock sneakers and streetwear.
- Support buy, sell and trade transactions.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance.
- Monitor sales performance and key retail KPIs.
- Maintain a good awareness of sneaker and streetwear trends, releases, brands and the wider resale market.
- Support online-store operations, promotions and in-store events.
- Communicate clearly with staff, customers and company directors.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory, managerial or team leadership experience.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A genuinely proactive approach to work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence taking responsibility and working independently when required.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- A positive attitude and team-first mentality.
- Good knowledge and awareness of the sneaker, streetwear and resale industry.
- An understanding of current brands, products, market trends and sneaker culture.
- Experience working with POS systems and basic reporting tools.
- Availability to work weekends, peak trading periods and occasional events.
- Previous experience within sneakers, streetwear, fashion, resale or online retail would be highly valuable. Experience buying and selling sneakers or clothing, or a strong understanding of the secondary market, would also be a major advantage.
