Retail Marketing & Brand Activation Executive – Croydon / Hybrid – £28,000–£35,000
Do you love seeing a campaign come to life in the real world?
We’re looking for a Retail Marketing & Brand Activation Executive to join a growing brand experience agency, helping deliver high-profile campaigns for some of the UK’s best-known consumer brands and retailers.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing, brand activation, experiential, trade marketing or in-store campaigns who wants to take more ownership of exciting, highly visible work.
You might currently work for a retailer, consumer brand, beauty/FMCG business, field marketing company or creative/activation agency. What matters most is that you've had hands-on involvement in getting campaigns out of a presentation and into stores or in front of consumers.
What you'll be doing
You'll help manage campaigns from initial brief through to implementation, working with clients, internal teams, suppliers and other partners to make sure everything is delivered brilliantly. Your role will include coordinating in-store activations, retail campaigns, product launches, POS/POSM, sampling and promotional activity, depending on the campaign.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll manage timelines and project plans, coordinate artwork and production, liaise with suppliers and delivery partners, help manage budgets and costs, and make sure campaigns are ready to launch on time.
You'll also work closely with teams involved in creative, production, logistics and field delivery, monitor live activity and help produce campaign reports and recommendations once campaigns have finished.
We'd love to hear from you if…
- You've already gained around 2–5 years' experience in an activation, retail marketing, shopper, experiential, trade marketing or similarly campaign-focused role.
- You don't necessarily need agency experience.
- We're particularly interested in people who have worked within retail, beauty, health & beauty, FMCG, grocery or consumer brands, or who have delivered campaigns into major UK retailers.
- Perhaps you're currently a Retail Marketing Executive, Brand Activation Executive, Shopper Marketing Executive, Trade Marketing Executive, Customer Marketing Executive, Campaign Executive, Account Executive, Field Marketing Executive or Experiential Executive and you're looking for your next move.
