Job Title: Retail & Brand Commercial Manager
Location: London
Employment Type: 12+ Months contract
Work Mode: 2 to 3 days
Job Spec:
You will act as the primary marketing lead within the Consumer Products team to meaningfully connect and engage with our consumers across all brand touchpoints, with a focus on the UK & Ireland.
You will manage marketing activity across key partners and work closely with the Retail, Category and Franchise teams to deliver against objectives.
The client is looking for an exceptional, strategic, and commercially-minded Retail Marketing manager to extend the reach of our brands at retail and gain front-of-mind space with the consumer. Note – whilst there is a significant level of marketing within this role, we are looking for someone with a commercial lens.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and implementation of both short term and long-term marketing strategies to support client Consumer Products.
- Execute innovative and relevant marketing activations to drive awareness and sales across key partner and retail accounts.
- Identify key trends and consumer insights, assist in developing and driving succinct marketing strategies within UK Consumer Products, whilst being agile to capitalize on social trends, and support the Category teams on key retail accounts.
- Provide campaign reports and analysis.
Required Experience
- Experience developing retail marketing activations to boost sell-in and over-the-counter sales.
- Experience managing media campaigns and working with media agencies.
- Basic performance marketing experience or understanding, beneficial.
- The role will also be responsible for the preparation of pitch materials, and the integration of data-based sales tools.
- It will also be responsible for the preparation of business review materials, as well as overlaying commercial elements to all marketing / executional plans.
- An understanding of digital/social marketing and experience of working with influencers.
- Experience planning, executing, and evaluating innovative marketing campaigns.
- Experience of working, and thriving, in a large matrix organization, beneficial.
