About Us
We’re Pentland Brands: a global family business behind some of the world’s most iconic active and lifestyle brands. We bring integrity, energy, and ambition to our work, setting high standards and striving to deliver great outcomes without ego.
Shape the work behind some of the world’s most loved sport, outdoor, and lifestyle brands.
Sitting within the Brand Marketing team, this role is all about bringing Kickers and Mitre to life where consumers shop. You’ll connect our brand plans with our key retail partners, creating standout in-store and online activations that build visibility, strengthen our retailer relationships, and ultimately drive sell-through.
Working across two distinctive brands, from Kickers’ footwear and cultural heritage to Mitre’s position at the heart of football, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how both brands show up across some of their biggest commercial moments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver the Retail Marketing Plans for both Kickers and Mitre across key retail partners.
- Build strong relationships with retailer marketing teams, creating account-specific plans that increase visibility and drive sell-through.
- Lead retail activations across key moments including Back to School, seasonal launches, the FA Cup, and exclusive product drops.
- Bring campaigns to life across both physical retail and ecommerce, ensuring consistent and impactful brand execution.
- Work closely with Brand, Commercial, and external agency partners to deliver joined-up go-to-market activity.
- Manage retail marketing projects from initial brief through to execution, balancing priorities, budgets, and timelines.
- Own the retail marketing budget and work with Commercial and Finance to measure performance and demonstrate ROI.
- Brief and manage creative and external agencies across retail campaigns and activations.
- Support customer sell-ins and key retailer meetings with the Commercial team.
- Ensure retail partners receive the right product, ecommerce, and campaign assets on time, while supporting commercial tools, catalogues, and UK showroom execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
