Retail Media Data Analyst
Southampton once a week | 50k + Bonus + Benefits

The Role
You will:
- Deliver analysis across retail media, CRM, and loyalty programmes to understand customer behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
- Build and evaluate customer audiences and segments to support marketing activation and targeting strategies.
- Measure campaign performance through incrementality testing, uplift analysis, ROI assessment, and commercial impact reporting.
- Produce post-campaign reviews that identify opportunities for optimisation and future improvements.
- Develop and monitor customer health metrics, including acquisition, engagement, retention, frequency, and customer value.
- Provide actionable insights that influence audience strategy, campaign design, and business priorities.
- Work closely with stakeholders across analytics, marketing, and commercial teams to demonstrate the value of customer data.
- Support the evolution of retail media capabilities through robust measurement frameworks and analytical best practice.
- Stay informed on industry developments and emerging trends within retail media, CRM, and personalisation.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience within the retail sector.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Experience using Python, R, or another analytical programming language.
- Experience analysing and evaluating marketing campaigns using customer and transactional data.
- Strong understanding of campaign measurement methodologies and marketing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and significance testing.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within a collaborative, matrix-based environment with changing priorities.
