Overview
We’re going into our third year of building Retail Media at Screwfix, and there’s still so much we’re evolving, building and figuring out. And now we’re adding two new Retail Media Partnerships Senior Executives to the team.
These are sales-focused roles where you’ll own a portfolio of vendors and agency partners, building strong relationships and finding opportunities to grow their investment with us. You’ll get close to your customers, understand what they’re trying to achieve and turn that into Retail Media plans that deliver. You’ll use campaign performance and data to spot opportunities, have conversations around what’s working and where we can do more, and ultimately drive growth, retention and repeat investment.
And because we’re still building the proposition, you won’t just be managing an existing portfolio. You’ll help identify new Retail Media opportunities, build the case for them and work with teams across Commercial, Digital, Marketing and Insights to bring them to life.
We’re looking for someone with experience in media planning, campaign management, account management, sales or Retail Media, who enjoys building relationships and has a strong commercial mindset.
Hybrid Working
We know that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to hybrid working. For this role, we’re open to discussing a working pattern that works for you and the team. You’ll need to be comfortable travelling to our Yeovil, Somerset office on a regular basis, typically weekly or fortnightly, as well as our Paddington, London office. The exact balance can be discussed as part of the recruitment process.
What's in it for you?
- Discretionary annual bonus up to 20%
- 33 days' holiday (including bank holidays, 5 of which can be taken flexibly)
- Hybrid working with flexible start and end times around core working hours
- Buy More Holiday - eligible colleagues can boost their holiday allowance by up to one extra week
- EV Car Scheme in Partnership with Tusker - eligible colleagues can lease a brand-new or pre-loved electric vehicle
- Up to 14% employer pension contributions
- Life cover up to 4x your salary
- Health cash plan and discounted gym memberships (up to 25% savings)
- 20% discount at Screwfix and B&Q
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of vendors and agency partners, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring agreed media investment, performance, and growth objectives are achieved within agreed timescales.
- Own the commercial performance of assigned categories and vendor portfolios, developing and executing category-specific retail media plans in partnership with the Retail Media Partnerships Manager to drive revenue growth, retention, and future investment opportunities.
- Manage and prioritise workload effectively, balancing business priorities, stakeholder requirements, and customer needs to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Own performance reporting for your vendor portfolio, regularly reviewing delivery against targets, identifying opportunities and risks, and taking proactive action or escalating where appropriate.
- Identify and develop new retail media opportunities across the business, building business cases and working collaboratively with stakeholders to take initiatives from concept through to successful implementation.
- Ensure effective management of all campaign and operational processes, maintaining compliance with agreed briefing, planning, scheduling, and delivery standards while seeking opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Retail Media products and capabilities, including sponsored products, display advertising, emerging ad technologies, and new inventory launches, providing guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
