Retail Media Propositions Manager

£40,000 to £45,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester city centre - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office two days per week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for a Retail Media Propositions Manager to join our Co-op Media Network team and help us create exceptional experiences for the brands and agencies we work with. You'll play a key role in developing and bringing to life innovative retail media propositions, building strong client relationships, and helping brands get the most from Co-op's unique advertising, data and media opportunities. Working across a fast-growing business, you'll collaborate with colleagues across sales, marketing, operations and partners to ensure we're delivering solutions that meet client needs and drive commercial growth.

You'll work with leading FMCG brands and agencies, help shape new propositions and events, influence how clients experience Co-op Media Network, and play a direct role in growing a business that's continuing to evolve and innovate.

What you’ll do

  • Build strong relationships with brands, agencies and partners to understand their needs and identify new opportunities
  • Help develop and improve retail media propositions that create value for clients and support revenue growth
  • Support the planning and delivery of client engagement activities, events, hospitality programmes and industry showcases
  • Gather client feedback and market insight, using it to improve propositions, services and the overall client experience
  • Work with internal teams to ensure client requirements are reflected in proposition development and delivery
  • Create compelling proposition materials, toolkits and sales support content that make our offerings easy to understand and buy
  • Support the launch of new propositions, helping drive adoption and engagement across clients and agency partners
  • Contribute ideas that improve how Co-op Media Network operates, engages clients and positions itself in the market

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

  • Experience building relationships with brands or media buyers, ideally within FMCG, retail media, or an agency account management/client service environment
  • A strong understanding of FMCG brands, their commercial priorities and the challenges they face when bringing products and campaigns to market
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including external clients
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities that create value for clients and support business growth
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging and customer-focused solutions
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to challenge, suggest improvements and bring new ideas
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on delivering a great client experience
