Retail & Operations Director - Lunn's Jewellers - Belfast

MCS Group is proud to be partnering with Lunn's Jewellers as it seeks to appoint a Retail & Operations Director on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland's most recognised luxury retailers at an important stage in its development. Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Board, you will lead both the commercial performance and operational effectiveness of the business, while shaping an exceptional experience for clients, colleagues and brand partners.

About Lunn's Jewellers

Founded in 1954, Lunn's is a family business with a long-standing reputation for fine jewellery, luxury watches and outstanding personal service. From its home in Queen's Arcade, Belfast, it has grown to include further showrooms and dedicated boutiques for some of the world's leading watch brands.

Lunn's combines the heritage and relationships that have built its reputation with ambitions for continued growth. This role offers the chance to influence how the business develops across its retail estate, online channels, aftercare services and certified pre-owned offering.

The Opportunity

As Retail & Operations Director, you will take responsibility for the overall performance of Lunn's retail business. Your remit will span sales, profitability, buying and merchandising, retail operations, online trading, aftercare and service, and the development of its certified pre-owned proposition.

Working closely with the Managing Director, Executive Team and senior leaders, you will turn strategy into effective day-to-day execution. You will strengthen the processes, systems and leadership capability needed to support growth, while protecting the personal service and attention to detail for which Lunn's is known.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
