To support this exciting phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Retail Operations & Expansion Manager to help drive operational effectiveness across our global retail network.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact management role reporting directly to the Head of Retail, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the operational success of LUCA FALONI's expanding international retail business.
As the operational partner to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for strengthening the foundations of our existing store network while supporting the successful delivery of new store openings across international markets.
You will oversee the operational backbone of the retail function—from inventory management, retail procedures, and loss prevention to facilities, store readiness, and operational compliance—ensuring every store operates efficiently, consistently, and to the highest luxury retail standards.
You will lead initiatives that improve operational performance, implement scalable processes, and help build the infrastructure that supports our continued international growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, solving complex operational challenges, and making a tangible impact within a fast-growing luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations
- Continuously improve retail operational standards across the store network.
- Ensure consistency of retail procedures, policies, and operational execution across all stores.
- Implement and maintain retail operating procedures, manuals, and best practices.
- Drive operational excellence across inventory management, stock control, loss prevention, and the other areas of remit.
- Oversee store facilities, maintenance coordination, and operational readiness.
- Ensure stores consistently meet company standards, compliance requirements, and operational excellence.

Store Openings & Expansion
- Ensure effective and efficient operational planning and execution of new store openings across international markets within the area of remit.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure successful store launches.
- Develop scalable store opening processes, timelines, and operational checklists.
- Ensure all new stores are fully operational and aligned with LUCA FALONI standards from day one.
- Support retail expansion projects and continuously refine opening processes as the business grows.
Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse operational and retail performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor key operational KPIs and implement initiatives that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and deliver process improvements that support a scalable international retail network.
- Lead operational projects that enhance consistency, profitability, and customer experience.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a key operational partner to the Head of Retail.
- Build strong working relationships across Retail, Logistics, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing.
- Ensure operational priorities are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Support the implementation of new retail initiatives and operational change across the business.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in retail operations, multi-site retail management, or a similar operational leadership role.
- Streamlined and concise communication and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring every initiative is delivered to completion.
- Experience supporting or leading new store openings.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention.
- Experience developing and implementing retail processes and operating procedures.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to correctly identify and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to drive operational decisions.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and rapidly growing business.
- Advanced digital proficiency and experience using retail systems and reporting tools.
- Experience within luxury, premium, or fashion retail is highly desirable.
