Job Title: Retail Performance Analyst
Location: London - Hybrid - 4 days in office
Job Type: Full Time - £55,000–£60,000
We are looking for a commercially minded Retail Performance Analyst to work closely with a portfolio of retail and brand partners within an outlet-centre environment.
This is a hands-on, brand-facing role combining retail performance, commercial analysis and stakeholder management. You will spend time visiting stores, meeting Brand and Store Managers, reviewing sales and KPI performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and working with partners to agree and implement action plans.
The role would suit someone who understands retail commercially, is comfortable working with data and, importantly, enjoys building relationships and influencing people face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with brand partners, Brand Managers and Store Managers.
- Regularly visit stores and engage directly with retail teams to understand performance, challenges and opportunities.
- Review sales, turnover, KPIs and other commercial performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify underperforming brands and work collaboratively with partners to develop practical action plans.
- Monitor agreed actions and track whether they are delivering improved commercial performance.
- Use data and retail insight to make recommendations to brand partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support brands in maximising key trading periods, promotional opportunities and sales initiatives.
- Work closely with Asset Management, Leasing, Marketing, Property and Centre Management teams.
- Help ensure stores maintain the required operational, customer service, compliance and ESG standards.
- Share insight and best practice across the wider retail portfolio.
- Contribute to wider retail and commercial projects.
- Act as a trusted commercial partner to brands, using a combination of data, retail knowledge and relationship management to influence performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
