Overview
Reporting to the Retail Process & Compliance Manager, this role supports the governance, documentation and delivery of key initiatives that drive process changes, compliance and improvement agendas across Retail Operations.
The role turns business requirements and improvement opportunities into clear processes, operational materials, reporting and tracked actions. Working across stores, Central Operations and relevant support functions, the role helps ensure operational changes, compliance activity and improvement initiatives are effectively controlled, communicated and embedded.

Responsibilities
Process & Documentation Support
- Maintain process documentation, guidance, procedures and operating standards.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date and accessible to stakeholders.
- Support the capture and assessment of process changes and business requirements.
Reporting & Insight
- Produce regular reports, dashboards and performance updates.
- Analyse operational and compliance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Highlight emerging issues and provide insights to support decision-making and prioritisation.
Governance & Administration
- Coordinate governance, audit and compliance activities.
- Maintain action trackers, meeting records and governance documentation.
- Monitor progress against actions, escalating risks, issues and overdue activities where required.

Improvement Coordination
- Support the planning, testing and implementation of process improvements.
- Coordinate activities, actions and stakeholders to ensure improvement initiatives remain on track.
- Capture feedback and outcomes to support continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Support
- Provide administrative and coordination support across business initiatives and projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for process, reporting and governance-related enquiries.
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Qualifications
- Experience in a retail operations, compliance, continuous improvement or project support environment.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing processes, procedures, guidance or operational materials.
- Analytical capability, with confidence using Excel and Power BI to maintain reporting, interpret information and identify trends.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience coordinating projects, governance or improvement activity and managing actions through to completion.
- Confidence identifying operational impacts, risks and issues and escalating them appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint; experience of Power Platform solutions would be advantageous.
- Desirable: Understanding of retail operations, compliance requirements, audit activity or operational controls.
