About the role:

We're seeking an experienced, strategic Sales Account Manager to lead our retail partnerships and sales, creating and executing sales strategy to drive revenue growth. Reports into the Commercial Director (interim), moving to Sales Director shortly.

What you'll be doing:

Sales

  • Driving sales and profitability targets; identifying, converting, and growing new and existing accounts year-on-year, managing stock and replenishment
  • Developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retail partners, aligning on shared growth targets, promotional calendars, and investment
  • Leading range reviews and range analysis for retail partners, and acting as their main point of contact
  • Reporting weekly on sales performance and opportunities, leading Monday trade meetings and briefing senior management
  • Coordinating critical paths for launches, keeping order forms current, and managing Unleashed and Prospect CRM data

Team

  • Building strong relationships with key retail partners through regular virtual and in-store visits
  • Managing and coaching the Sales support executive, maintaining warehouse relations, and coordinating category plans cross-functionally
  • Supporting ad hoc requests from stakeholders and customers

Marketing

  • Managing new product launch set-up and timelines with retail partners, and collaborating on ideas to maximise opportunities
  • Overseeing promotional plans per retail partner and supporting the Bare Feet range's development

You'll have:

  • 5+ years' proven track record as a retail account manager, ideally in beauty, wellness, luxury, or lifestyle
  • Strong knowledge of the UK retail landscape and how major retailers operate (e.g. Boots, Space NK, John Lewis)
  • Excellent organisational, presentation, and communication skills, with strong account leadership
  • A passionate, agile, ownership-driven approach with a growth mindset
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint, with an interest in and openness to adopting AI tools to improve sales account management efficiency and output.
