Krispy Kreme is bringing our iconic Rocket Store to Braintree Village, and we’re looking for Part-Time Retail Team Members to join the crew.

Hours: 4–15 hours per week

This isn’t your average retail job.

Our Rocket Store is a one-of-a-kind, retro silver caravan serving up our world-famous doughnuts, barista-made coffee and sweet treats in one of Essex’s best-known shopping destinations. It’s fast-paced, fun and full of personality.

  • Prepare and serve our delicious doughnuts, drinks and treats.
  • Keep the Rocket clean, stocked and ready for lift-off.

  • Follow our food hygiene, health and safety, cashless payment and brand standards.
  • Work closely with the rest of the crew and help keep things running smoothly during busy periods.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Lone working and the outdoor environment

Lone working is a significant part of this role. You’ll regularly operate the Rocket independently, serving customers, preparing orders, keeping the store clean and stocked and following all safety and security procedures without another team member on site.

You’ll need to be confident working independently, making sensible decisions and contacting a Shift Leader or manager when you need support. As the Rocket is an outdoor store, you must also be comfortable working in all kinds of British weather.
