About Griffin & Co
Nestled in the historic heart of Chichester, Griffin & Co Fine Jewellery has built a reputation as a premier destination for fine jewellery, bespoke design, and expert craftsmanship. From crafting unique engagement rings in our on-site workshop to remodelling cherished family heirlooms, we are defined by our commitment to personal service, exceptional quality, and timeless design.
We are now thrilled to be expanding our footprint and bringing our warm, unhurried, and highly tailored approach to a brand-new showroom in Guildford. We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and driven Retail Sales Assistant to join our founding Guildford team on a part-time basis and help us build lasting relationships in our new community.
The Role
As a part-time Retail Sales Assistant at our new Guildford store, you will be the face of the Griffin & Co brand. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, guiding customers through our collections (from lab-grown and certified diamonds to bespoke wedding bands), and driving store sales. The ideal candidate is approachable, motivated by targets, and passionate about delivering the "personal touch" that our clients have come to expect.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
