Eyemazy Soho is a London-based iris photography studio that transforms the human eye into high-resolution macro artwork. Located in central Soho, the studio uses advanced imaging technology and a specialised photo-box setup to capture the unique patterns and colours of each iris. Eyemazy Soho’s pieces serve as personal keepsakes, meaningful gifts, and striking statement artworks for homes and workspaces.
Role Description
This is a part-time, temporary (potential for permanent), on-site Retail Sales Assistant role based at the Eyemazy Soho studio in London. The Retail Sales Assistant will greet and engage visitors, explain the iris photography experience, and guide clients through the artwork personalisation and purchasing process. Responsibilities include handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining product displays and studio cleanliness, and supporting daily studio operations. The Retail Sales Assistant will work closely with the studio team to help achieve sales targets and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Guide customers through our in-studio photography and personalisation experience
- Drive sales and upsell additional products, working towards individual targets
- Support day-to-day studio operations using our booking and POS systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' customer service or customer experience (sales-orientated preferred)
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to create a welcoming, personalized studio visit.
- Quick learner, confident picking up new tech-based systems
- Photoshop experience desirable but not essential - full training provided
- Interest in photography, art, or creative products.
- Ability to work on-site in central London, including weekends and peak retail hours.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.

Pay & Contract
- Pay: £13.50/hour + commission
- Job Type: Temporary, Fixed term (approx. 2 months)
- Contract length: 1st November – early January (TBC), with possible extension depending on team movements
Schedule
- Flexible across 7 days
- Minimum 1 weekend day required per week
- Must be available throughout the Christmas trading period (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day)
