RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
For our Flagship Store in London, we are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our Tom Dixon retail team with the ambition to offer our customers a world-class retail experience.

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British design and manufacturing brand with a commitment to innovation. We design, develop, and sell extraordinary objects and spaces for everyday use, including lighting, furniture, accessories, and interiors.
The company has showrooms in London, New York, and Cologne and launches new collections bi-annually at the leading global design fairs. We are currently on a growth journey with the aim to double our revenue within 3 years, supported by strong innovation, a strong pipeline of new product launches. About the Role
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and representing the Tom Dixon brand. The role combines product expertise, client engagement, sales performance, and day-to-day store operations, ensuring that the store consistently reflects the brand's standards and commercial objectives. This is a 5 days per week role split over Monday - Sunday, hence will include weekend work on a rotational basis.

You will be responsible for:
- Welcoming customers and assisting them in their purchasing decisions by displaying a high level of product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
- Supporting the daily operational needs of the showroom including, but not limited to, receiving, tracking, and shipping of customers’ orders.
- Maintaining our shop’s beautiful aesthetic, consistent with company guidelines to provide a visually stimulating display for the customers.
- Assisting with weekly stock deliveries and keeping the stockroom organized, reporting any low stock to maintain availability.
- Building rapport and developing relationships with new customers to generate appointments and funnel existing customer traffic into the store.
- Displaying the highest level of customer service through knowledgeable, honest, and respectful communication with all visitors.
- Supporting and reinforcing a positive showroom culture and embodying company values.
About You
We’re looking for a creative individual who has experience and a passion for the industry and really identifies and believes in our products. We’re looking for someone with a good dose of common sense, who is sales-focused and thrives by engaging with our customers.

More specifically, you would have:
- Previous retail sales experience in lighting and furniture is essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the enthusiasm to go above and beyond.
- An interest in the industry and a passion for design, interiors, or lighting.
- Superb communication skills. You naturally ignite great rapport with people, build relationships, and adapt your style to all levels.
- Independent and forward-thinking with the ability to self-manage and excellent time-keeping.
- Well-presented and a polished ambassador for our brand.
