About The Role
To support the operation of the portfolio retail stores and other retail customers, the Retail Sales Manager will develop the wholesale business across Northern Ireland through effective sales, relationship management and business growth as part of the wider Musgrave NI Company.
They will take responsibility for setting and achieving annual budgets and targets in line with the needs of the business for the sales team, whilst actively managing team members to maximise performance.

What you’ll be doing
- Manage and develop employees within the team
- ‘Collect & Delivered’ Wholesale account management
- Relationship development with internal and external stakeholders
- The development and implementation of promotions and sales strategies to drive growth and improve profitability.
- Utilising sales data through detailed analytics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by the sales team.
- Train the team on techniques, product knowledge, and upselling strategies.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Full driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience within the retail FMCG sector
- Proven track record of delivering agreed performance results
- Previous experience of successfully managing and motivating a team to deliver results
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Self-motivator with good time management skills
- Commercial awareness
- Strategic and innovative thinker
- Customer-focused approach with ability to show initiative
- Strong report writing, presentation and communication skills
