  • Thursday & Friday

    • Thursday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
    • Friday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Pay Rate

  • £12.71 per hour

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Providing a visible security presence within the store
  • Conducting regular store patrols
  • Monitoring and reporting incidents
  • Completing Incident Reports and Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries
  • Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour
  • Carrying out surveillance around the store
  • Supporting store management and colleagues
  • Building positive relationships with customers and visitors
  • Resolving issues and conflict in a calm and professional manner
  • Ensuring all security procedures are followed
  • Delivering outstanding customer service at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A professional and reliable approach to work
  • A full five-year checkable employment history
  • Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential
  • Own transport required
