Retail Security Officer (Flexi) - Tesco Partnership
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire (S81 7AP)
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Flexi Contract, minimum 16+ hours per week
Shifts: 2 days out of 7 on a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays where required
Typical Shift Patterns
- 08:00 - 16:00
- 09:00 - 17:00
- 16:00 - 00:00
Various additional shifts may be available to support store requirements

- Valid SIA Licence essential
About The Role
Kingdom Group, in partnership with Tesco, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to support our Tesco store in Worksop. This is a flexible contract offering a minimum of 16 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on operational requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor the store to maintain safety and security
- Deter and prevent theft, loss, damage, and unauthorised activity
- Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity
- Produce accurate incident reports and daily records
- Provide a visible security presence throughout the store
- Deliver excellent customer service and assistance
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements
- Liaise with store management and emergency services when required
- Support colleagues in maintaining a safe shopping environment
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Previous retail security experience desirable but not essential
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
