Kingdom Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our valued partner, Poundstretcher, for Retail Security Officers to join the team at Poundstretcher, 56 Castle Street, Belfast, BT1 1HD.
If you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have excellent customer service skills, and are looking for a permanent role with a reputable security provider, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay Rate
£12.71 per hour

About The Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service.
Your Duties Will Include
- Providing a visible security presence within the store.
- Conducting regular site patrols and surveillance.
- Monitoring and reporting incidents.
- Completing Incident Reports and Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries.
- Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour.
- Responding to incidents professionally and effectively.
- Supporting store management and staff.
- Building positive relationships with customers and visitors.
- Resolving issues and conflict in a calm and professional manner.
- Ensuring all security procedures are followed.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Your own reliable transport.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional approach with strong observational skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A full five-year checkable employment history.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
