Kingdom Group are a key partner to Tesco Supermarkets, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Royal Southend Express, SS1 1DQ.

0 - 48 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- 12:00 - 22:00
- 15:00 - 23:00
- Flexi role, working as and when required to support the business

About The Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. You will provide a professional and visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing a visible security presence and deterrent within the store
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises
- Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour
- Responding professionally to incidents and security concerns
- Completing accurate reports and incident documentation
- Assisting customers and colleagues when required
- Working closely with store management and the wider security team

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional and confident approach
- Good observational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and make balanced decisions under pressure
- Previous retail security experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- A full five-year checkable employment history
