Location: Tesco Immingham, Kennedy Way, Washdyke Lane, Immingham, DN40 2AB

Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Full-Time Permanent

About The Role

Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Immingham, DN40 2AB.

As a key member of the security team, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.

Shift Pattern

You will work 40 hours per week on a 5 days over 7 rota:

  • Tuesday: 15:00 - 23:00
  • Wednesday: 15:00 - 23:00
  • Thursday: 15:00 - 23:00
  • Friday: 15:00 - 23:00
  • Saturday: 15:00 - 23:00

Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
  • Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with company procedures.
  • Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
  • Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Licence is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
