Retail Security Officer - Tesco Partnership
Location: Tesco Stanground Express, PE2 8RJ
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 0-35 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday
Shift Times
- Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
- Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 / Midnight (depending on store)
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence Required
- Own Transport Essential
About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to provide relief cover across multiple Tesco stores in the Peterborough area.
This flexible role involves covering holidays, sickness, and other absences across a number of Tesco locations. You will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence.

Due to travel between stores, own transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records
- Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
- Support store management and colleagues as required
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
- Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Own vehicle and full driving licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service

- 0-35 Hours Per Week
- Monday to Sunday
- Relief position covering holidays and sickness
- Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
- Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 / Midnight (depending on the store)
