Retail Security Officer - Tesco Partnership
Location: Tesco Bishop Auckland, DL14 9AB
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday (5 Days Per Week)
Shift Time: 16:00 - 00:00

About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Bishop Auckland.
You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence throughout the store.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering a professional security service and enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records
- Support store management and colleagues as required
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
- Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets
- Challenge suspicious behaviour in a professional manner
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- A flexible approach to working hours and duties
Shift Information
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday to Sunday
- 5 Days Per Week
- Shift Time: 16:00 - 00:00
- Permanent position
