Retail Security Officer (Relief Officer) - Tesco Partnership
Location: Lincoln & Sleaford Area (Multiple Tesco Stores)
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 0 - 35 Hours Per Week
Shifts: Monday - Sunday (Full Flexibility Required)
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence Required & Ability to Travel Between Stores
About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer (Relief Officer) to join our Lincoln and Sleaford team.
This role involves providing relief cover for holidays, sickness, and other absences across multiple Tesco locations. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence.
The successful candidate must be able to travel and work across multiple stores within a 10-15 mile radius and be fully flexible to meet the needs of the business.

- Lincoln - LN2 4QQ
- Lincoln High Street - LN2 1HW
- Brayford - LN1 1BN
- St Marks - LN5 7AA
- Lincoln 1 - LN5 8HS
- Sleaford - NG34 7BB
Please note: Sleaford must be covered 2-3 days per week, with the remaining days spent providing relief cover across the Lincoln stores.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records
- Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
- Support store management and colleagues as required
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
- Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Full flexibility to work across multiple locations
- Ability to travel between stores as required
Shift Patterns
As a relief officer, shift times will vary depending on store requirements. Typical shifts include:
- Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
- Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 / Midnight (depending on the store)

Additional Information
- Full five-year employment history will be required
- Contract of employment provided directly by Kingdom
- Pay is provided monthly
- Permanent position
- Ongoing training and progression opportunities available
- This is a relief position and full-time hours cannot be guaranteed initially
- There is potential for hours to increase and develop into a full-time role over time, subject to business needs
