Location: Tesco Shenfield Brentwood Express, CM15 8JD

Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour

Hours: 32 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

About The Role

Kingdom Group is recruiting for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Shenfield Brentwood Express, CM15 8JD.

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who can provide a highly visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. The successful candidate will be professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with a variety of situations while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Shift Pattern

32 Hours Per Week
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday
15:00 - 23:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store.
  • Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
  • Respond to incidents professionally and in line with company procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
  • Support store management with loss prevention initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.

Skills and Experience Required

  • A valid SIA Licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous retail security experience is preferred, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Candidates must be professional, reliable, and confident when dealing with members of the public.
  • The ideal applicant will possess strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while working both independently and as part of a team.
