Security Officer
Location: Tesco St Neots, PE19 2SA
Pay: £13.72 per hour
Position: Permanent
Hours: Average 32 to 48 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a flexible rota, Monday to Sunday
Shifts: 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 and 16:00 to 00:00 on a rotating basis
Requirements: Valid SIA Security Licence and own transport essential
Retail Security Officer
Kingdom Group, working in partnership with Tesco, is looking for a professional, customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco St Neots.
This is a permanent position offering an average of 32 to 48 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide a visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues and visitors while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular store patrols.
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft, loss and anti-social behaviour.
- Monitor and respond to incidents appropriately.
- Support store colleagues in maintaining a safe retail environment.
- Complete incident reports and documentation accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when required.
- Handle challenging situations professionally and confidently.
- Follow all site security procedures and policies.
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Security Licence.
- Own transport is essential.
- Full 5-year checkable employment history.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable and confident manner.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good attention to detail.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work all shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
