Post and Packing provides a wide range of services for both private individuals and businesses, including post box rentals, mail and order fulfillment, storage and archiving, discounted parcel rates, and e-shop drop. Since the relaunch of the Kings Hill office in May 2012, the business has grown steadily, expanding its services to residential and business communities. We provide trustworthy, professional, customer-focused service to reduce hassle and help clients save money. Customers can rely on Post and Packing for everyday needs such as posting letters, managing online orders, and handling fulfillment tasks.

Role Description

The Retail Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Leicester branch in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include:

The Retail Shop Manager will also manage cash handling and till operations, coordinate mail and parcel services, support order fulfillment, and implement operational processes that align with company standards and performance goals. This position requires hands-on leadership, clear communication with team members, and collaboration with management to achieve sales and service targets.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to support a welcoming, efficient, and solution-focused environment.
  • Store Management and Operations Management skills to oversee daily shop activities, staff coordination, and operational procedures.
  • Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and external partners clearly and professionally.
  • Experience in retail or service-focused environments, including cash handling, inventory control, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Leadership ability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; prior experience in mail, logistics, or fulfillment services is an advantage.
