Retail Solution Architect
Rate: £500 - £600 Outside IR35
Location: 2 days per week on site - Birmingham
Duration: 6 months initial
We are looking for an experienced Retail Solution Architect to support a major transformation programme across a large multi-site retail estate.
This role will play a key part in shaping the architecture and design of several business-critical initiatives, ensuring new technology solutions integrate effectively across retail operations and customer channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead solution architecture and design across multiple retail locations.
- Support the implementation of a new home delivery platform.
- Support the implementation of a new hotel booking system.
- Drive EPOS modernisation initiatives.
- Guide the introduction of a new till system.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions align with operational requirements and long term strategy.

What We're Looking For:
We are keen to speak with architects who have strong experience delivering technology solutions within retail environments.
Ideal experience includes:
- Retail technology architecture.
- Store systems and in store technology.
- EPOS platforms and modernisation programmes.
- Omnichannel retail solutions.
- Multi-site technology architecture and design.
- End to end solution design across complex retail estates.
