Job Description: Retail Specialist
c£36,000 plus fully equipped Mercedes van, workwear, mobile, laptop, fuel card and 25 days paid holiday.
Your role is to deliver the company’s retail strategy and grow the brand through innovative retail displays and customer support. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan regular visits to all stockists in your region to review retail impact.
- Identify and advise on prime positions for product displays and POS material.
- Manage and implement all necessary improvements, installations, refurbishment and relocation of in-store displays.
- Communicate effectively between all departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Work with the marketing team to support promotions.
- Maintain accurate records via a central CRM system.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK with up to 2 nights away each week.

About the Company:
A world-leading garden / DIY equipment manufacturer that is the first choice brand for many professional users. They sell through a national network of approved stockists and this role exists to improve the presentation of the company’s products within customers and to ensure all retail staff are well trained and highly motivated.
Candidate Profile: Retail Specialist
We would like to hear from you if you can offer:
- A home base between Leicester and York and the ability to travel extensively.
- Extensive retail experience to Department Manager, Store Manager or Area Manager level.
- The ability to identify and improve store layouts to increase sales.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- High energy, determination and ambition.
Salary/Benefits Information:
The successful candidate will receive a negotiable basic salary c£35,000 - £36,000, a fully expensed and equipped company van, workwear, 25 days holiday, laptop, mile and fuel card as well as attractive pension and healthcare benefits.
