Role Description

The Retail Store Manager at Subdued will oversee the daily operations of the store in London, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This full-time, on-site role includes leading and coaching the store team, setting daily priorities, and monitoring sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing visual merchandising
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Coordinating deliveries
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and loss prevention procedures
  • Handling customer escalations
  • Supporting a high level of customer care
  • Managing scheduling
  • Contributing to local marketing initiatives to grow store traffic and sales
  • Regular reporting to Sales leadership
  • Implementing brand standards consistently

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager for a similar fast fashion industry (at least 2 years)
  • Excellent Communication skills to lead teams, interact with customers, and collaborate with Sales Leaders
  • Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to implement procedures that minimize shrinkage and protect company assets
  • Proven experience in fashion or retail management, ideally with a youth-focused or lifestyle brand
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods as required
