About the Role

Position: FTSV

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week.

Pay: £13.61 per hour.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (postcode: LS10 3SA)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: £13.61
  • Minimum Weekly Hours: 39
  • Minimum Weekly Earnings: £530
  • Overtime: Available
  • Holiday: 30 days each year

Responsibilities

  • Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

Requirements

  • A friendly, positive, hard-working approach to work.
  • To be a ‘people person’ who finds it easy to get on with everyone and is able to build strong working relationships.
  • To be trustworthy and reliable.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries would be beneficial.
  • Complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired.
