Retail Systems Testing Administrator

📍Location: East Croydon - 14 WEEK FTC
🕒Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.

📅Here's the exciting bit… A day includes:
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end promotional testing for each event
- Run structured testing of all promotional activity ahead of go-live, ensuring promotions perform correctly at till.
- Carry out detailed till-based validation of promotions
- Test promotions by scanning products on test tills, validating correct discount application, offer triggering, and expected customer outcomes.
- Validate a wide range of promotional mechanics
- Test multibuy, bundle, threshold, and loyalty-based promotions (e.g. 3 for 2, BOGOF, spend & save), including different transaction scenarios and quantities.
- Identify and resolve issues prior to go-live
- Proactively detect scanning errors, incorrect discounts, or conflicting offers, and escalate issues to relevant teams for resolution
- Prioritise testing activity based on risk and complexity
- Use structured priority lists to focus on high-risk or complex promotions and ensure efficient use of the testing window.
- Record and track testing outcomes
- Document test results, scenarios, and issues using team trackers, ensuring a clear audit trail of validation activity
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support issue resolution
- Work closely with IT, Systems, and Marketing teams to troubleshoot test rig issues and ensure promotions are ready for launch
- Ensure readiness for R10 till rollout
- Apply existing promotional testing processes within the new R10 system, supporting transition and ensuring promotions scan correctly in live stores
