About the opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Team Member to join our team at our Mitre 10 Keith store.
This is a permanent Part Time position with up to 37.5 hours per week, rostered between Monday and Sunday. Saturday hours are 8:30am – 12pm, and Sunday hours are 9am – 12pm.
What you will be doing
- Providing excellent customer service, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
- Putting away stock, mainly hardware products
- Supporting with admin tasks as required
- Physical work with some heavy lifting required
- Stock and store merchandising
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers, and contractors within their department
What you will bring
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment
- Background in hardware and retail an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn safety systems highly regarded
- Ability to assist in the leading of a small team when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster
- Must have a driver’s licence. Forklift Licence highly advantageous
