Overview

Retail Trainer – Drive Sales & Brand Engagement for AEG (part of the Electrolux Group)

Territory Location:

Scotland including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen & the North East of England

Contract:

Permanent, full time position

Working Days:

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary:

Up to £33,000 per annum including a 10% performance-related bonus, plus company car and fuel card

McCurrach is looking for a Retail Trainer to join our Electrolux team, representing AEG across Scotland and North East England. This exciting field-based role combines training, sales support, relationship building and brand advocacy, helping retail partners confidently recommend AEG's premium cooking, cooling and laundry solutions.

As the face of AEG within your territory, you'll work closely with retail colleagues, kitchen designers and store managers, delivering engaging product training and helping customers discover the benefits of AEG's innovative technologies. Through your expertise and influence, you'll help increase product advocacy, recommendation rates and premium product sales across the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one and group training sessions that build confidence in AEG's cooking, cooling and laundry products.
  • Work with retail teams and kitchen designers to translate product features into clear customer benefits and support premium product conversations that encourage customers to trade up to higher-value solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with retail colleagues, store managers and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner within your accounts.
  • Gather valuable retailer, shopper and competitor insights, identify opportunities within stores and ensure AEG products are presented to a high standard.

What We're Looking For:

  • Enjoy building relationships, developing others and delivering great customer experiences.
  • Experience in training, coaching, retail, field sales, product demonstrations or account management is beneficial.
  • Experience within domestic appliances, electrical retail, kitchen retail, FMCG or premium consumer brands would be beneficial, but just as important is the ability to communicate effectively, build credibility and positively influence others.
  • Organised, commercially aware, self-motivated and comfortable working independently across a large territory.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays, are essential.
