New Store Opening Training Manager x2

We are looking for a New Store Opening Training Manager to take operational ownership of new store openings across the UK. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will lead and train teams, support franchisees and ensure each new site is fully prepared to open and operate to the required company, brand, food safety, health & safety and customer service standards.
You will take ownership of the opening process from pre-opening training through to launch, delivering training before opening, supporting the team through opening day and the first weekend, and providing further support before handing the store over to the Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate new store opening activity from training through to launch.
- Deliver individual and group training to franchisees, managers and frontline teams.
- Train teams across operational procedures, health & safety, food safety, coffee, food preparation, customer service, cleaning, equipment and retail systems.
- Ensure products and service are delivered consistently to company and brand standards.
- Support franchisees with recruitment, preparation and operational setup.
- Check opening deliveries, stock and equipment and resolve issues before opening.
- Act as the company's key representative on site, confidently managing problems and making decisions without constant supervision.
- Build effective relationships with franchisees, store managers, suppliers, Operations and Head Office.
- Provide hands-on support during and after store openings before ultimately handing the site over to Operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and training.

About you
We are looking for someone with a strong hospitality, contract catering, restaurant, coffee or multi-site operational background, ideally with experience of opening new stores or sites and training teams.

You will need to be confident leading groups, comfortable being the sole company representative on site and able to communicate effectively with everyone from new-entry baristas through to experienced Store Managers and Franchisees.
You should be commercially minded, highly organised, self-motivated and confident solving problems independently. Strong emotional intelligence, integrity and reliability are important, as is the flexibility to work early starts, weekends and variable hours when required.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively are essential. (You get a car and travel is reimbursed)
