BMW Group UK: Retailer Performance Manager

The BMW Group UK is looking for talented individuals to join the team as a Retailer Performance Manager.

About the Role

The Retailer Performance Manager is responsible for ensuring that retailers across the UK network achieve their targets in terms of premium segment market share, incoming orders, retails, parts purchase, and other relevant sales and aftersales KPIs in close coordination with the responsible Business Partner and Area Managers. The role manages the National Sales Centre performance programme and all retailer follow-up measures to have clear actions with the clear objective of achieving commercial objectives.

This role is based at the Summit One Campus.

What Awaits You?

  • Define and design measure content, goals, and milestones using data-supported assessment of performance at retail partners in coordination with the sales force.
  • Enforce granular performance management principles through data-based decision-making and action-oriented implementation.
  • Prepare data analysis and insights to support retailer performance reviews and binding agreement of requirements, KPIs, targets, and processing.
  • Support the selection of measures based on impact, feasibility, and identified potential.
  • Provide and evaluate further retailer data analyses to define follow-up measures and support the Field Force performance reviews.
  • Use and further develop the existing toolbox and propose follow-up measures for the goal-oriented development of retail partners.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support across all measure-related areas in the retailer.
  • Control measure-related results and documentation and assess effects on top KPIs in accordance with the NSC performance programmes and key measures. Including preparation for reporting to regional and NSC committees.

What Should You Bring Along?

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, ideally in the following fields:
    • Business Administration / Management
    • Economics
    • Automotive Management
  • Demonstrated years in tail and wholesale experience in automotive sales.
  • Strong process orientation and know-how across all areas of automotive retail. Highly experienced in initiating and driving change projects.
  • Seniority and confidence in dealing with NSC stakeholders, including Area Teams, and ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism with retailer management; Heads of Business and department leads.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong affinity for business management indicators, ability to interpret data, implementation focus, and multitasking capability.
  • Experienced in consulting work methods, combining strong analytical foundations, fact-based decisions, and sensitivity in implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, empathy, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong leadership and social skills.
  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills and Microsoft 365 copilot
  • Able to embrace new AI platforms and utilize them to drive greater analysis, reporting breadth, and deliver efficiencies.
