The Team You'll Join

Our Retention team in Bath manages direct-to-consumer engagement across 60+ specialist brands, including iconic titles in Gaming, Homes, Sport, and Lifestyle. We focus on keeping readers engaged, expanding subscriber lifetime value, and delivering customer-first marketing journeys. You'll join a supportive, collaborative group that connects directly with millions of passionate magazine, paywall, and app readers. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to build authentic marketing campaigns that foster long-term loyalty across world-class media titles.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Retention Manager in Bath, you'll deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that retain and win back subscribers across our print and digital portfolio. You'll work closely with editorial, brand, printer, and CRM teams to build authentic customer communications that reflect the unique voice of each title.

On a daily basis, you'll:

  • Write creative design briefs
  • Draft engaging campaign copy
  • Manage automated email onboarding journeys using CRM platforms, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Excel
  • Review subscriber analytics
  • Monitor campaign performance
  • Coordinate artwork through sprint workflows
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth operational delivery

What you’ll bring

  • Experience or strong interest in subscription marketing, CRM, or audience engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience creating or supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital or print media.
  • Proficiency with office collaboration software, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail for proofreading and campaign copy.
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to build positive relationships across cross-functional brand teams.
  • Analytical curiosity with confidence using spreadsheets to evaluate performance data.

Minimum Requirements

  • Interest in starting or continuing a career in retention, CRM, or digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience or qualification in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Practical experience delivering marketing communications or using digital collaboration tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Capability to work collaboratively from our Bath office.

The expected salary for this role is £26,500

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days per week from our Bath Office
